Woodworld was established in Cape Town in 1976 - initially located in a small warehouse in Hout Street, in the City. We
soon outgrew these premises and moved to Glosderry Road Claremont - long before Access Park was established.
From there we moved to Wetton - and then to 2000 sq metre premises in Epping in the early 80's.

The 90's proved to be tough trading years and we eventauly purchased our own building in Salt River in 1999,
where we finally established a showroom and factory in the same building.

As a manufacturer, we are able to offer you, the customer, the ability to purchase furniture to your own personal
preference, instead of trying to convince you to purchase what we have in stock.
We manufacture to order - delivery periods are usually around 4 to 5 weeks : so there is a waiting period, however
at least you select the timber that suits your home and decore as well as fabric choice and even dimensions.

We do manufacture an extensive range of furniture - and are mostly capable of making up
to special designs when required.
